WebMuni was developed by Foster Solutions, Inc. (FSI) starting in 2010. It has now developed as a robust platform working on WordPress.
WebMuni consists of several WordPress “plugins” that integrate all the major functions of municipal government, including meetings, documents, projects, people.
Pages are dynamically created for each department, board, meeting and project.
FSI was formed in 2000 by Doug Foster, building websites and advanced database solutions. Doug has been building municipal websites since the mid 1990s when he built the City of Ithaca website in ColdFusion. That site boasted online forms for environmental review and building permits.
